Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), formally known as Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD).
In short it is a chronic neurological syndrome characterized by:
- severe burning pain
- pathological changes in bone and skin
- excessive sweating
- tissue swelling
- extreme sensitivity to touch
Special thanks to the RSDSA website: http://www.rsds.org
CRPS has many other symptoms that may or may not occur in a patient, some mild and some severe. Every patient’s experience with CRPS is not identical, although somethings overlap to confirm a diagnosis.
The following video is a montage I put together to explain my experience with CRPS.

Very nice website. I like the picture.
As far as the lawyers here in the US for RSD or CRPS, they usually will not take cases. I was told the win rate is so low they really have to be iron-clad before they will even talk to you.
So, yes they advertise. But when you contact one, you get a chilly response from them. I think they are looking for like a slip and fall on a big company to go along with the CRPS clain and then they might take it.
When I was first diagnosed with RSD, I wanted to go after my hand surgeon. I could not find anyone to take the case. I called every lawyer that advertised.
I’d like to know if you ever find someone a lawyer took on specifically for the CRPS.
